Community of Lives

The community of Lives is in the northern Andes of Peru, 6387ft above sea-level.  The population faces extremely low-income levels, with most families earning around $140-$160 per month, which forces many children and young people to drop out of school. Most are engaged in agricultural, or informal work, without access to stable employment opportunities. They live with numerous physical, social, and cultural limitations.

Here the education is a privilege accessible to only a few. It is dream that many young people can not even imagine pursuing due to financial constraints.
